Diabetic Foot Care

Diabetes patients should give special attention to their feet; Diabetes disrupts the vascular system, affecting many areas of the body such as the eyes, kidneys, legs, and feet.

Diabetic people may develop insensitivity or a loss of ability to feel pain, heat, and cold. This results to complications like ulceration and in worst situations even amputation.
Diabetic foot care is very crucial, if you or your loved one have diabetes start taking precautions today and avoid risk of Diabetic Foot.
Use Comfortable Footwear, footwear should with high and wide toe box, firm heel that provides stability and support
Check feet every day- Keep Feet dry and clean specially between toes, always, wash only with warm water and never use hot water.
Take walk every day, to improve blood circulation.
Do not use any creams without doctor’s consultation.
Take care of feet as much as you take care of your face.

  1. My grandmother has been suffering some foot pain as of lately. I know she hasn't been the best about taking care of her diabetes. I really hope she'll take it more seriously in the future. I don't want her to end up not being able to walk or something.
